I have been advising and arranging mortgages for nearly two decades. During this period have arranged mortgages for individuals, companies, partnerships both on a residential and commercial basis.
As well as this I am also a fully qualified Independent Financial Adviser, and have arranged Life Assurance, Pensions, both individual and company, Savings plans, Investment plans, and Unit Trusts, Income Protection Plans, and of course Mortgage Protection Plans for my clients.
As this is a heavily jargon based profession, I always try to keep things simple, as I can never understand why make something more difficult than it has to be. For many people it is a case of getting a plan of action together and then coming up with a solution and every case is different, so I am constantly amazed by the approach of Banks and lenders who treat everyone as the same and do not seem to realise that with all their millions of customers that one size does not fit all and people are unique individuals.
Having done as many mortgages as I have, you cannot help from benefiting from experience, but I think that for me the true quality of what I do is endorsed by the amount of people who recommend their family and friends and work colleagues to me knowing that I will look after them. As an Independent I work solely on the behalf of my client NOT anyone else. Anyone who runs a business will tell you that recommendations are the number one way to get business and it does rubberstamp that the service that that business provides is very much worthwhile. I would only recommend something I am happy with, wouldn’t you?
